This painting was created out of visual memories and imagination. I’ve always been fascinated with clouds and atmosphere and enjoy including a moody or expressive sky in my paintings. The shape of the tree is deliberately unrealistic with a slightly futuristic feel evoking a feeling of solitude but not necessarily loneliness.
